Fractional Consulting is where on-call services meets part-time work! We provide expert services to supplement your staff on a regular basis - this may be as little as a couple hours per month to a few days per week.

The fractional consulting model allows Katigon Consult to work alongside public works agencies to complete tasks, initiatives, and projects that otherwise go unstaffed and incomplete. This approach creates a pathway for public works agencies to eliminate backlog while maintaining existing levels of service.

This also allows our clients complete control of workload and timing. The flexibility of fractional consulting ensures we make progress toward your goals without creating an over-burden of tasks.

While our team has experience in engineering design, Katigon Consult does not perform design or inspection functions. There are many companies who offer design services across the full range of engineering design and we are happy to provide assistance in the selection process, from writing RFQ/Ps to providing owners support in project management activities.

Using experience gained in public works director and city engineer positions paired with a background in consulting design, Katigon Consult strikes a balance between understanding the day-to-day demands of Public Works Professionals and the dedication needed to develop and implement long-term strategic initiatives. This allows Katigon Consult to develop and implement trusted and effective results for public agencies with limited resources and bandwidth.
